Simon founded WE GO FROM—HERE after witnessing the challenges organizations face when people’s growth and system evolution don’t align. His mission is rooted in a lived experience: transformation happens when leaders, teams, and systems evolve in harmony.
Drawing on years of experience, Simon has worked with both traditional and progressive organizations, helping them foster autonomy, adaptability, and resilience.
Hello! I am Simon Mhanna and here is my brief overview of my experience:
At the core, my practice has always been about facilitating people through change.
With over two decades of experience in the design and innovation space, I have worked with leaders and teams to envision, research, develop and implement change initiatives on all scales. I have seen people from all walks of life choose to either lean in or shy away when that change is presented.
I have gained significant experience working within self-managing organizations and collaborating with progressive organizations transitioning from hierarchical structures. My work focused on creating responsive and fluid systems that enable organizations to evolve and nurture leadership potential within people.
Throughout my career as a consultant, I have learned that change starts and/or ends at the crossroad of fear and courage, which led me to develop my coaching practice.
Today I combine consulting and coaching. As a consultant, I work with teams and organizations looking to design systems and processes to improve how they organize and work. As a certified coach, I enable leaders individually and teams collectively to view change as an opportunity to pursue rather than a threat to avoid.
I come from a design background and have always been fascinated by the human capacity to create. Design is inherently optimistic with the belief that through better design comes a better solution. Design expanded my curiosity about the world and facilitated my passion for innovation. It also made me realize that I have a true passion for helping to optimize and expand people’s welfare and wellbeing.
My background is in Design, Business, Media & Communications, and Coaching. I have about two decades of experience working for clients and companies across industries and geographies (North America, WANA, the Gulf, Europe, Africa). I’ve collaborated with leadership teams across industries (start-up, multinational, not-for-profit, and the public sector). I have worked in human-centered design, research, business strategy, facilitation, leadership, and change management functions.
This unique blend of skills and experiences has enabled me to bring diverse people together to solve complex problems in complex systems and to guide leaders to set the path ahead.
Helping people through the change process is a growing passion of mine. Whether in my coaching, organization design, teaching, community work, or career in general, the most inspiring success stories have been the ones where I have witnessed personal growth.
As a coach and consultant, I work with individuals seeking to better their lives, teams looking to work collaboratively, organizations striving to revamp how they work and organize, and communities aspiring to design a better future.
I have completed a Co-Active Coach Training and received my Co-Active Professional Coach Certification as well as my ACC designation by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Currently pursuing ORSC training and certification and working towards my PCC designation with the ICF.
